Sire lines
Counted from the foals in this database, which is far from every registered foal. Read the figures as a guide to the shape of the breeds, not as registry totals.
Akyel: leading sires
Akyel: the male line from Jaynak
Sons with at least eight recorded foals.
Chongtor: leading sires
Chongtor: the main male lines
Unlike the Akyel, the Chongtor never became one horse's breed: Kökjal's line is only one of several foundation lines that survive. Lines are counted from the foundation horse at the top of each modern Chongtor's sire line.
